How days are scored
Each day is scored from the five limbs — tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga, karana — against classical rules for your activity. Rikta tithis (4th, 9th, 14th), Amavasya, Vyatipata/Vaidhriti yogas and Vishti (Bhadra) karana are penalized; benefic combinations add up. With your birth date, tara bala (your Moon nakshatra's relationship to the day's nakshatra) personalizes the ranking.
