Do you have Kaal Sarp dosha?

When all seven planets fall on one side of the Rahu–Ketu axis, tradition calls it Kaal Sarp dosha. This check detects it from your chart, identifies which of the 12 classical types you have, and lists the traditional remedies.

Birth details

Lagna (ascendant) needs birth time and place — the more exact, the better.

How this check works

Kaal Sarp dosha is flagged when all seven planets (Sun through Saturn) lie within a single 180° arc starting from Rahu — or from Ketu. The check uses your exact sidereal longitudes. When present, the type is named by the house Rahu occupies from your Lagna: Rahu in the 1st is Anant, in the 2nd Kulik, and so on through all twelve houses.
Note: some traditions only count the dosha when the Moon is also hemmed in, or when no planet sits with Rahu/Ketu. This page follows the widely used all-planets-on-one-side rule and shows you the raw geometry so you can see exactly why the verdict was reached.
