Ripple editing

While ripple is on, clips snap together with no gaps. Storage and exports live in the Media panel.

Beat markers

Snap to beat

When VideoWorks hears a steady beat in a sound on the Audio lane (its row shows the tempo), the beats are drawn under the ruler — every fourth is a downbeat — and dragging or trimming any clip snaps to them while Snap to beat is on.

Freeze & Reverse live in the clip tool dock. Freeze: select a clip, park the playhead on the frame you want, and tap Freeze — the still is held for 2s (drag its edges or set the hold under Trim). Reverse renders a reversed copy of a clip on this device and is capped at 15s of source span; trim longer clips first.
