I write software for a living — I work on large-scale data systems — and I photograph to stay human. Landscapes, street, portraits, macro, and on clear nights, the sky through my Celestron 6SE from the rooftop.
My dark-sky escapes are Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Saratoga. Every one of those trips taught me the same lesson: the difference between a good night and a great one is planning — knowing exactly when the light turns, when it gets truly dark, and whether the clouds will cooperate.
I build my apps the way I want them as a user: free forever, no accounts, nothing uploaded, and honest about what the numbers mean. Roshni is the photography hub I wished existed — the planner, the field math and the lessons, in one quiet place, in English and Hindi.
