About the developer

The person behind PhotoWorks.

PhotoWorks is built by Anubhav Jindal, a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudera in Santa Clara, where he works on Apache Impala and data warehouse systems.

He is also a photographer. Landscape, street, portrait, macro, and astrophotography, from Bay Area dark-sky spots to Yosemite and Joshua Tree. PhotoWorks is the photo library he wanted for himself: one that never uploads anything, never asks for an account, and never charges.

In his personal time he builds free, privacy-first web apps at anubhavjindal.com. Everything he ships is free forever, with no accounts and no tracking.
