What these systems are
KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati, 20th century) keeps the sidereal zodiac and Vimshottari dasha but subdivides each nakshatra into nine sub-lords in dasha proportions — the sub-lord of a point has the final say on whether its promise fructifies. Full KP needs Placidus house cusps; this tool shows the planetary sign → star → sub chain.
Lal Kitab (Pt. Roop Chand Joshi, 1939–1952) fixes the houses — Aries is house 1 for everyone — and judges planets purely by house placement, prescribing humble daily upay (donations, feeding animals, flowing items in water) instead of gemstones.
