Hi, I'm Anubhav.
I build free tools for fun — and I believe good software should quietly make the world a little better.

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudera in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I work on Apache Impala and data-warehouse infrastructure. Outside of work I build small, honest tools — JobTrail included.
JobTrail started as my own spreadsheet problem: dozens of job tabs, the same role posted in three cities with three different job IDs, and no memory of what I'd already applied to. So I built the tracker I wished existed — keyed by job ID from day one, with referral tracking that no one else bothers to do.
Free forever. Private by design.
JobTrail has no accounts, no servers, no ads, and no analytics. Every application you log lives in your browser's local storage — I literally cannot see it.
Job IDs, not vibes.
Same title at a different location with a different job ID? That's a separate application here. The duplicate warning only fires on the exact posting — never on a lookalike.
Found a bug? Have an idea?
JobTrail is a Phase 0 — a browser extension and email-parsing are on the roadmap. Tell me what's broken or what you'd track next.
